The Northumberland National Park Foundation; enhancing and protecting the beautiful landscape of the Northumberland National Park.
The Northumberland National Park Foundation is a registered charity that aims to safeguard the future of the North East’s most unspoilt and iconic landscapes.
It supports activities which promote, assist and encourage the protection, conservation and enhancement of the Park. The Foundation is also interested in activity which opens up the Park to enable a wide range of people to explore and enjoy it. This includes volunteering, education and learning opportunities for people of all ages.
The Foundation is currently helping to raise the remaining capital needed to ensure The Sill – Northumberland National Park’s flagship National Landscape Discovery Centre at Once Brewed, on Hadrian’s Wall – reaches its full potential.
It works closely with and supports the Northumberland National Park Authority’s work, but as an independent charity. It also acts solely to build a network of supporters and and choose initiatives to support throughout the Park and beyond.
