Hareshaw LinnThe main village in North Tynedale. It hosts a local show - sheep judging. home produce competitions, displays and country crafts, on the last Saturday in August.
The Pennine Way passes through the village and it is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside.
Hareshaw Linn is a wooded valley close to the village centre, providing a super family walk up to the spectacular 30' waterfall at the end of the gorge. The return walk takes approximately 2 hours to complete. A leaflet is available from Bellingham Tourist Information Centre and from all National Park Visitor Centres.
