Built in 1760 with further additions in 1811 and 1849, the house and its outbuildings are stone built in traditional farmhouse style, and like most properties in the area was built using stones "borrowed" from the nearby Hadrian's Wall fortifications.
Holiday Cottage
Close to some of the best preserved sections of Hadrian's Wall, the house is situated right on the Cumbria / Northumberland boundary, halfway between the towns of Haltwhistle and Brampton. Only a couple of minutes from the main A69 road, the guest house is ideally situated to explore this beautiful scenic part of the North of England, including Northumberland National Park, the North Pennines and Eden Valley.

The property is easily accessible to Carlisle and the M6 to the West and Newcastle and the A1 to the East.
Bush Nook offers comfortably furnished bed and breakfast accommodation, all ensuite and most with open beamed ceilings. Award winning dinners are available in the licensed dining room.
For those wishing to be self sufficient, the guest house also have a recently converted, superbly equipped self catering holiday cottage in the Hay Barn, which sleeps two people.
