Summary of findings:

  • From the evidence available the provision of Information and Communication Technology services is largely neutral, as they are non discriminatory
  • Information and Communication Technology Services can have a positive aspect in some areas as they are enablers

Summary of Recommendations and Key Points of Action Plan:

  • A Clear statement of equality will be added to the ICT policies, which all staff have to sign annually.
  • Amendments to the "IT Requirements for Staff Form" to take account of any special requirments,
  • Collection of additional data, with regard to complaints, changes and training requirements on the system.
