The region's single most successful agricultural event attracting both rural and urban audiences.
The core event is the agricultural competitive classes attracting exhibitors from as far north as Scotland to Lancashire. With emphasis on tradition, visitors can experience sheep shearing, hedge laying, the elegance of heavy horse turnouts, parade of hounds, grand parade and showing classes. Intermingled with this are some spectacular acts to thrill and entertain all members of the family.
