Everything you want to know about Bats but were afraid to ask…

National Park Ecologist Gill Thompson and bat expert Tina Wiffin will tell us the basics about bats, before a short (under a mile) twilight walk to Thirwell Castle.  At Thirwell, a known bat roost, we will use special equipment to hear and identify bat species.  The group will be transported back to Walltown for 10:00pm.

Aimed at adults and children aged 8 years and over.

As this is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately and wear appropriate footwear.  As the weather can change please remember to bring waterproofs and warm clothing.  Sorry, dogs are not allowed at this event.

Refreshments included.

Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.
