A tour of a fascinating  collection of ancient stone markings in the Wooler area on the edge of Northumberland National Park. Making use of a mini-bus, we tour three different sites, finishing at Routing Linn, the largest decorated rock in Northern England.  Add in some waterfalls and spectacular views of the Cheviot area and it makes for a tour with a difference!

Numbers are limited so it is essential to book; please do not turn turn up on the day.

Please dress for changeable weather, wear walking boots or shoes and bring drinks and snacks.  Sorry, dogs are not allowed.

Lace up your boots and enjoy a great time outside.

Duration – 3.5 hours

Distance – 5 miles

Category – Easy+. Short walks of 3-8km (2-5 miles). Paths may be rough or uneven with some short ascents and descents.

Starting point (please meet here approx 10 minutes before the start time): Cheviot Centre car park

Directions: From the A697 take the road into Wooler. The Cheviot Centre/Tourist information Centre is at the north end of the High Street.
