evocative traditional stories

Falstone Cakewalk

Date: 8th July 2017
Time: 10:00 am  to  4:00 pm

Falstone Cakewalk

The flowery scent of  summer, a storywalk around the dramatic riverbanks, an old railway line, and cake at the end – what could be better?  Join storyteller Pascale Konyn to discover what traditional stories are evoked by the ever inspiring Northumberland National Park landscape.

This is an easy ramble of around 2 miles opening out into wonderful views with the countryside aglow with summer flowers.

Beverage and cake included in price.

We are holding two Falstone Cakewalk sessions:

10am to 12.30pm

1.30pm to 4pm

To avoid disappointment we recommend you book your tickets in advance online.

The booking for the event will close before the event takes place, often on the afternoon of the last working day prior to the event.  There may still be tickets available; unless this event shows either that booking is essential or that tickets are “sold out” you may still be able to attend simply by turning up on the day.  However, do note that places are always allocated on a first come first served basis because of number restrictions.

As this is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately and wear appropriate footwear.  As the weather can change remember to bring waterproofs and warm clothing.

Aimed at families with children over 7 yrs of age.

Location: Falstone Old School Tearooms, Falstone, Hexham, NE48 1AA

For those wishing to use GPS/Sat-Nav please note that, particularly in open country, postcodes cover a large area, so, whilst the postcode will get you to the right general area, you will still need to follow directions to locate the venue.
