inspirational printmaking

Join us for a printing workshop with a difference.

Our inspiration will be drawn from Greenlee Lough, a hidden haven for wildlife reached by a boardwalk. National Park Ecologist Gill Thompson will guide you through rich habitats, including reed beds and cotton grass, and help you choose what it is that you want to transform into print.

After lunch, artist Lindsay Duncanson will demonstrate cyanotype printmaking and take you through this scientific process to produce your own work of art to take home.

Lunch, transport to Greenlee Lough and all art materials provided.

Numbers are limited so it is essential to book; please do not just turn up on the day.

Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the morning walk which is approx 1.5 miles.

Aimed at – Adults. 16-18 year olds also welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Venue: Twice Brewed Inn, Bardon Mill, NE47 7AN (next door to the Sill  National Landscape Discovery Centre on the B6318).
