Join us on our guided walk: The Schil.
Setting off from Hethpool, our strenuous route goes up the College Valley before turning north near Fleehope and climbing steeply to pick up the bridleway onto the Border Ridge.
A further climb achieves the objective of the day, climbing The Schil and crossing the border into Scotland. Having enjoyed the stunning views, our route joins the Pennine Way over Black Hag before we descend to Trowupburn via Wideopen Head. We then take the footpath skirting the base of Sinkside Hill back to the College Valley. This is a walk for experienced fell walkers – booking essential.
