Celebrate National Meadows Day with Northumberland National Park

It’s National Meadows Day.  To celebrate, join Northumberland National Park on a walk where we will take a look at the huge variety of flowers and insects to be found in one of Northumberland’s best hay meadows.

Aimed at families with children 12 years and under.  Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Our new website and booking system are currently in development – if you wish to put your name on a list to be notified when bookings are open for this event, please contact our Activities Support Officer – trudygraham@nnpa.org.uk / 01434 611505.   £5.00 per child.  Adults go free!

As this is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately and wear appropriate footwear.  As the weather can change please remember to bring waterproofs and warm clothing.

Location: Wedder Leap, Northumberland National Park car park

Directions: From Rothbury take the B6381 west through Thropton. At ‘Flotterton’ take the right signed ‘Alwinton’. Go through Alwinton and continue along the single track road for approx 6 miles. The car park is on the left before Barrowburn.
