Star Gazing for Beginners at Heighley Gate

Meet our astronomer and find out about the distant wonders of our galaxy and beyond!  Learn about stars and how to recognise the most visible constellations in the night sky. Discover more about the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park on your doorstep and the exciting new Sill National Landscape Discovery Centre opening in Summer 2017.

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT – PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP ON THE NIGHT IF YOU HAVEN’T BOOKED ONLINE AS WE WILL BE UNABLE TO ADMIT YOU.

The event is aimed at beginners 11 yrs and older. Weather permitting, telescopes and binoculars will be available for you to use. Tea and Coffee will also be available. Please wear warm clothes and footwear. Places for this talk should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
