Wild Wednesday – Dipping Delights

Breamish River

Wild Wednesdays are a way for children to explore, play, discover and enjoy Northumberland National Park.

This Wild Wednesday is called Dipping Delights. Come along and find out what creepy-crawlies lurk in the hidden depths of the River Breamish.  Learn about life in the River Breamish – who lives here, who eats who and what they all become!  By identifying who lives in the river we will also be able to determine how clean the river is.

We will supply all the equipment – nets, ID charts etc; all you need to do is bring your wellies or old shoes to wear in the river.

Aimed at families with children 12 years and under.

Our new website and booking system are currently in development – if you wish to put your name on a list to be notified when bookings are open for this event, please contact our Activities Support Officer – trudygraham@nnpa.org.uk / 01434 611505.  Tickets will be £5.00 per child – Adults go free!

As this is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately and wear appropriate footwear.  As the weather can change please remember to bring waterproofs and warm clothing.

Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Location: Bulbys Wood car park, Breamish valley, near Ingram, NE66 4LT

For those wishing to use Sat-Nav please note, particularly in open country, postcodes cover a large area so whilst the postcode will get you to the right general area, you may still need to follow directions to locate the venue.
