Wild Wednesday – Spider Hunt

Wild Wednesdays are a way for children to explore, play, discover and enjoy Northumberland National Park.

This Wild Wednesday is called Spider Hunt.  Come along and discover the amazing and often complex world of these intriguing creatures – no Tarantulas or Black Widows but the many equally interesting species found all around us.

Aimed at families with children 12 years and under.

Our new website and booking system are currently in development – if you wish to put your name on a list to be notified when bookings are open for this event, please contact our Activities Support Officer – trudygraham@nnpa.org.uk / 01434 611505.  Tickets will be £5.00 per child – Adults go free!

As this is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately and wear appropriate footwear.  As the weather can change please remember to bring waterproofs and warm clothing.

Children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Location: Simonside Forestry Commission Car Park, Simonside, Northumberland

Directions: coming from Hexham on the B6432 turn off right (signposted Simonside), past Lordenshaw National Park Car park on your left and approximately a mile further on is the Simonside Forestry Comission Car Park on your left.
