General Arts Information

Northumberland National Park Authority has a duty to promote and enhance the culture and traditions associated with the National Park. The National Park Authority delivers this duty in partnership with a range of other agencies and organisations, facilitating grants and assisting individuals and organisations with the promotion of activities.

Arts, traditional music and other locally distinctive cultural activities are included in the National Park Authority's annual programme of events.  We advertise these by poster and on the web within our Great Days Out Section.

We also provide educational handouts and materials based on the culture and traditions within the National Park to support the National Curriculum within Schools.
