Northumberland National Park Authority understands this target is to measure reductions in costs arising from payment transactions.

Presently the National Park Authority only issues around 70 invoices per year. Currently 60% of electronic payments are received mainly from government departments and local authorities, the remainder of issued invoices are for items such as stock and car park passes.  

The percentage of payment transactions which are received electronically will be measured on an annual basis.
