Small Grants Appraisal Group

The Small Grants Panel makes funding decisions for both the Sustainable Development Fund, and in partnership with the Northumberland National Park Environment Association, for the Good Nature Fund. The Small Grants Panel consists of five members of staff from Northumberland National Park Authority. The Small Grants Panel will not include any member of staff that has worked with the applicant on preparing their project.

The Small Grants Panel consists of staff representatives from:

• Business Management
• Community Enterprise
• Engagement Policy
• Finance
• Funding

Funding decisions are usually made within 28 days of the receipt of the application form.

With regards to the Sustainable Development Fund, the Small Grants Panel only makes decisions of a non-strategic projects requesting under £5,001. The Grants Panel make all the other funding decisions for the Sustainable Development Fund.
