Green Business Tourism Scheme Silver © GBTSThe Border Forest Caravan Park is situated adjacent to the main A68 road (the scenic route to Scotland) approximately 6 miles south of the Scottish Border at Carter Bar.

The caravan park is a small secluded family run park located in the centre of Northumberland National Park and on the edge of Kielder Forest.

It is next to the Pennine Way and many walks are on hand through the surrounding forest. Ideal terrain for mountain biking, pony trekking and nature watching with fishing nearby.

The touring site is a completely natural well drained level site, approximately 3 acres of short grass with tarmac roads and street lighting. It has excellent access and can accommodate motorhomes, touring caravans and tents of all sizes.

Also available for customers to hire are the Timber Lodge and Border Forest Country Cottage.

The Timber Lodge is idyllically situated adjacent to the Cottonshope burn and overlooks beautiful pine forests. The lodge comfortably caters for 4 adults, with 2 bedrooms, (1 double & 1 twin) and also includes all bedding.

The Border Forest Country Cottage includes a small terrace at the entrance for al fresco dining, living and dining room, a seperate kitchen, with fridge and cooking area together with utensils. There is also a double bedroom with en-suite toilet and shower facilities, bedding is of course included.
