Whilst enjoying a day out or taking a short break in Northumberland, you will be captivated by the charming village of Simonburn and the surrounding countryside. The Tea Room and Shop also offer the services of a rural Post Office and provide a range of local produce for sale.

A stroll through the village brings you to St Mungo’s 13th Century Church, historically known as the Mother Church of the North Tyne Valley

The cosy dining room caters for up to 22 guests where you can enjoy superb home-made cooking. During the summer months you can also enjoy terrace garden which seats 26. There is disabled access to both Tea Room and garden area.

The Bed and Breakfast accommodation caters for up to 8 guests:

  • Double room for 2 persons
  • Twin room for 2 persons
  • Family room for 4 persons

The rooms are very clean and comfortable in a quiet, traffic free location. All rooms have a colour TV and tea / coffee making facilities. Please note that all the bedrooms are situated on the first floor

For walkers and cyclists, Hadrian’s Wall is a comfortable two and a half miles walk from Simonburn. The National Byway Loop Cycle Route that uses Hexham as its base, is a 23 mile round trip easily achievable in one day and includes Simonburn in its sign-posted route.
