8 St. Aidans Park, Fourstones, Hexham
Be at home in a detached modern stone built house, surrounded by a very pretty garden, in a tiny rural village close to Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Site. 8 St. Aidans Park's theme is a quiet friendly atmosphere in which you can relax from the stresses of travel. There are log fires in cold weather, very interesting walks and good conversation.
Walkers will be warmly welcome, as will visitors with some disability. Enthusiasts of everything Roman will have access to the library and videos. Guests indulging in one of the Hadrian's Wall Heritage Tours provided in association with 8 St. Aidans Park have the exclusive attention of an archaeologist during their entire stay. During term time he teaches part time at Newcastle University with classes on Early Roman History and Hadrian’s Wall.
8 St. Aidans Park is ideally situated for exploring not only the Wall but historic and unspoilt Northumberland.
