Sunrise at Willowford Farm

Willowford Farm offers comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation in the heart of beautiful Hadrian's Wall Country.

The farm is situated on the edge of Gilsland, Northumberland (just off the A69) and is ideally located for walkers and cyclists following Hadrian's Wall or the Pennine Way, and a perfect base for those visiting the natural and cultural riches of the region.

As part of the Northumberland National Park Green Tourism Scheme, Willowford are committed to running an environmentally responsible business. They are currently in the process of entering the Organic Entry Level Stewardship Scheme which will commit them to farming organically and in a way that is sensitive to native plants and animals.

The river and the surrounding fields provide a diverse range of habitats that support much native wildlife, and they farm the land in a way that encourages it to stay.

Guests at the farm wake up to a fabulous selection of organic food. Choose from a full cooked English breakfast using locally produced organic bacon and sausages and free range eggs (fresh from the farm's own hens) or a range of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt and as much homemade toast as you can eat.

Willowford have a range of twin and double rooms and will also happily accommodate single visitors, families and groups. Well behaved dogs are also most welcome.

All guests are provided with handmade soap and all rooms are equipped with kettles, hairdryers and digital radios.
