All plans, drawings and other material submitted to the Local Planning Authority are protected by Section 47 of the Copyrights Act 1988. Such material may only be downloaded / printed for the following purposes
- For consultation purposes
- To compare current proposals with previous schemes
- To check whether developments have been completed in accordance with the approved plans
- Further copies may not be made without the express permission of the copyright holder
Ordnance Survey maps, or any other mapping created by use of Ordnance Survey material, cannot be reproduced without the permission of the controller of Her Majesty's Stationery Office (HMSO) Crown Copyright. Such materials may be only be downloaded for private or non-commercial purposes. Such material must not be further sub-licensed, sold, lent, demonstrated or otherwise transferred or exploited without the prior written permission of Ordnance Survey. Unauthorised reproduction infringes Crown Copyright and may lead to prosecution or civil proceedings.
Copies of decision notices may be made, provided that the copies are true copies and are not altered in any way.
Accuracy of Plans
The plans displayed on this web site are as submitted by the applicant with the original planning application. During the course of the application the plans may be subject to amendment or alteration and may not be included here. If you are in doubt as to the status of the plans displayed here, please contact a Planning Officer. To assist with any inquiry it would be helpful if you could note the reference number of the application.
Northumberland National Park Authority will try to ensure that only information which forms part of the Statutory Register is made available on this website. The Applicant’s name and address forms part of the Statutory Register and will, therefore, be published for all applications. Private details – such as telephone numbers, email addresses, signatures, etc – do not form part of the Statutory Register and so the National Park Authority will make every effort to ensure that these details are not published.
The names and addresses of those commenting on planning applications are also considered to form part of the Statutory Register and so Northumberland National Park Authority, as a local planning authority, has a statutory obligation to make this information available for public inspection, in accordance with the Local Government Access to Information Act (1988). When publishing details of comments on planning applications, the Authority will make every reasonable effort to ensure that any other personal information is removed prior to publication of the comments.
Please note that if you do not provide your name and address when commenting on a planning application, or if you inform the Planning Officer that your comments are intended to be treated as anonymous, your views cannot be taken into account
Once a planning application has been determined, any comments submitted in respect of that application will be removed from the Authority’s website, although they will remain on the original planning file.
E-mail is not a guaranteed or secure means of communication. If you do not receive a reply within a reasonable time frame, or at least 24 hours before any deadline that may be relevant to the e-mail, then do phone us on 01434 605555 to check that the e-mail has been received and not lost/stopped somewhere along the way.
