Local Development Scheme

The Local Development Scheme outlines how the Authority will develop the documents which form part of the Local Development Framework over the next three years.

The current Local Development Scheme was considered by the National Park Authority at its meeting on September 21, 2009 and came into effect on the November 6.

Current consultations

The Northumberland National Park Authority are undertaking public consultation on the Landscape Supplementary Planning Document and the Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document, for details on how to become involved please visit our Engagement Opportunities page.  This consultation replaces the identified consultation period of November and December 2010 in the Local Development Scheme.
