Our main statement of intent is provided within our Comprehensive Equality Policy currently under review following the provisions of the new 2010 Equality Act.

The Equal Opportunities in Employment Policy sets out guidance to employees and job applicants on the Authority's aim to be an equal opportunities employer.

The Valuing Ability Policy provides general advice, which staff can refer to for their own benefit and to help members of the public when providing services.

Equality and Diversity in Procurement provides a template for potential suppliers to the Authority wishing to develop their own equality and diversity policy.
