Stuart Evans, Director of Corporate Services

Stuart Evans heads the financial, personnel and performance management functions of the Authority. His role includes leading the communication, information technology, committee and corporate support services. Stuart is the Authority's Monitoring Officer and is currently leading on supporting the development of a community and business led approach to rural development in the Northumberland Uplands area of the region.

The Director of Policy and Strategy leads the teams that develop the National Park’s policies for approval by the National Park Authority Members on Planning and Development Control, Ecology, Archaeology, Tourism, Arts and Education.

Catriona Mulligan, Director of Operations

Catriona Mulligan heads the two Operational Teams, North and South, who deliver our services and are the primary point of contact for residents and visitors in the National Park’s Action Areas. The teams include National Park Rangers and staff responsible for Farming Advice, Community Enterprise advice and grants, Community Projects and Visitor Centres.
