Oak Tree in the College Valley, Northumberland National Park

Getting Involved

The project is open to all who live in, work in, or visit the Cheviot Hills.  There are a variety of ways to get involved – check the diary dates section for forthcoming events and activities, send us your contact details to receive a project newsletter, or contact the Project Officer with your own ideas.

Get your group involved

Are you part of a community group in the Cheviot Hills? Perhaps you belong to a W.I. group, a local history society, or a wildlife or photography club? Or maybe you run a scout or guide group in the area, or belong to a walking club?

If your group is already carrying out research which could feed in to the project, or if you have ideas for a project your group would like to undertake with some help in the form of advice or training, please get in touch.

We may also be able to help with speakers or visits to sites in the Cheviot Hills area.
