Approved Suppliers and Current Contracts

Northumberland National Park Authority's standing orders state that where the estimated amount of a proposed contract exceeds £10,000, and in any other case where the Authority determines, tenders shall be invited.

Current tenders are advertised in newspapers and on the website.

Under the standing orders, approved lists of suppliers and/or contractors may be compiled by the Chief Executive. Where the size of the contract merits the action a public notice inviting applications for inclusion will be published in a local newspaper and, where relevant, in at least one newspaper or journal circulating among such persons or bodies as undertake such contracts. The approved list of suppliers and/or contractors will be reviewed at regular intervals of not less than three years or more than five years.

We currently do not operate any approved lists.
