Local Transport Plan

The Local Transport Plan (LTP) is a 5-year integrated transport strategy for Northumberland that has been prepared in partnership with the community by the County Council, which is the Transport Authority for the area. The present LTP covers the period 2006 - 2011 and will be reviewed again towards the end of this period. The LTP is a bidding document for Government Funding for transport initiatives. Information on the preparation of Local Transport Plans is available from the Department of Transport website.
