Music Festivals in Northumberland

Besides the birdsong in the wide open spaces, there is a splendid tradition of local music in Northumberland.  Of course Northumberland is famous for its Northumbrian Smallpipes and players.

You will also find the fiddle, the accordian, the penny whistle, the flute and the harmonica being heard around the local shows, pubs and theatres. Make a point of visiting the local music festivals.

If you do not yet know of the Northumbrian music and traditional music, then have the pleasure of finding out during your visit.

For further information on local events visit the Northumberland Life website.
