This weather station was established in December 2008 and is 225 meters above sea level. Linked with a web camera located on Hadrian’s Wall it is now possible for day visitors to check the weather prior to setting off.

The display below shows weather data for the current situation on site and will refresh roughly every minute. Data is also being sent to the Weather Underground global network of weather stations for monitoring purposes. If you are interested in a seven day forecast for the area this can be accessed too.
