The capital of Coquetdale

Known as the ‘capital of Coquetdale’, this scenic market town bustles with welcoming pubs, cafés and galleries. Its High Street boasts a number of traditional independent shops.

There are shops, cafés, art and craft galleries, pubs, banks, a children’s play park, riverside picnic area, cycle hire, a library, church, golf course, public toilets and a bus service available. It is a great springboard for adventures in walking, cycling and more.

Tourist information in Rothbury

There is an Information Point at The Coquetdale Centre, which houses Northumberland National Park Authority’s Rothbury office as well as those for the Forestry Commission Tomlinson’s.

The Information Point is run by Tomlinson’s and offer a wide range of maps, leaflets and local products.

Tomlinson also has a Cafe and Bunkhouse in the town.
