Hay meadows
Buff Tip Bumblebeeare at their best in June and can be seen in the North Tyne Valley and Cheviots in Upper Coquetdale.
Lots of birds can be seen on the moors at this time of year such as curlews, lapwings, skylarks, wheatears, ring ouzel, swallows, swifts and house martins.
Bumble bees also can be found on the moors and in the valleys.
Don't forget to look down too, adders, our only native snake, can be seen on the moors during the warmer months.
