This site was initially created as part of the 'Reticulum Project', a partnership between the Museum of Antiquities, based at The University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and the First Schools of Northumberland. Learning resources focus on life in northern England during the Roman period. These are aimed primarily at children in Key Stage 2 (age 7-11) but the emphasis on accuracy of information as well as the informal style is designed to appeal to a wider audience.
