Oak Tree in the College Valley, Northumberland National Park

Fell Running

The hills of the National Park offer superb fell running opportunities. Races are held throughout the year and the routes are varied and interesting, covering distances of between 3 and 20 miles.

Fell running races are friendly, fairly small scale events and visiting runners are made very welcome. Many of the races are linked to traditional local agricultural shows, which make a great day out for all the family. Check out the events calendars on the websites below for local races during your visit.
