Falstone, Roughside and Smalesmouth

  • Route distance: 16 km / 10 miles
  • Grade – moderate

Starting from Falstone, this circular walk follows footpaths and bridleways across open fell and through some of the prettiest parts of Wark Forest. Some paths may be wet and muddy after rainfall. Be prepared for some steep sections.
