Star gazing for beginners
Do you know your Pollux from Uranus?
If no, then you need to come to this. We are working in partnership with the Newcastle Astronomical Society and Herding Hill Farm Camping and Caravan Site to host a 'Star Gazing for Beginners' event on Saturday, 20th October.
This free event will be in two parts, starting with an hour-long presentation in the Herding Hill Tea Rooms at 6pm. Spaces are limited, so please reserve a space by visiting: http://www.stargazing-20october.eventbrite.co.uk.
Afterwards, weather permitting, we will host telescope observations of the night sky at Cawfields Dark Sky Discovery Site at 7.30pm onwards.
Please wear warm clothes.
