Voluntary Ranger Walk - Barrowburn

This is a circular walk starting from the car park at Wedder Leap (NT 866103) in the Upper Coquet Valley, about 6 miles north west of Alwinton. The route is north from Barrowburn and involves a steady climb up Barrow Law to Murder Cleugh, east then south via Middle Hill, back to the car park via Barrowburn Tea Rooms, if required. There are outstanding views towards the border fence over the Cheviot Hills. The area has much to offer of historical interest. 4.5 miles. Moderate.
