Voluntary Ranger Walk - Lordenshaws

A fascinating circular walk looking at cup and ring marked rocks, burial mounds, cists tri-radial cairns and a hillfort. The walk starts at Lordenshaws car park (NZ 052987) visiting rock art and a hillfort complete with the remains of hut circles before ascending to Dove Crag on the Simonside ridge and returning via the Beacon and a medieval deer park. 3 miles. Moderate.
