Volunteer Ranger Walks - Ring Chesters Hillfort

A circular walk starting at the Hethpool car park (NT 893280) in the beautiful tranquil College Valley, passing Hethpool House before ascending cultivation terraces to East Laddies Knowe hillfort. Continuing to the ridge with great views either side of the border, then onto Ring Chesters hillfort before following the Elsdon Burn back to Hethpool. 5.5 miles. Strenuous.
