Folkworks Hexham Gathering

Folkworks Hexham Gathering (20^th – 24^th May) brings top folk and traditional performers together with some of the brightest rising stars in the new generation of folk musicians. Hundreds of hugely talented performers converge on Hexham each year creating a vibrant kaleidoscope of music and spectacle throughout the town centre and at a variety of other venues across Tynedale. Add in some stunning performances by professional artists including Katie Doherty Eliza Carthy and Aidan Curran, The Shee, The Askew Sisters, The House Sisters and this becomes a true highlight of the folk year with concerts, ceilidhs, sessions, informal performances and more.
