Christmas Comes to Northumberland National Park
Northumberland National Park Authority is getting in the festive spirit as it prepares to launch its month-long programme of Christmas events at The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre in Once Brewed.
From tales of Christmas elves to creative workshops and festive fun runs, the Park’s Christmas events programme promises to deliver something for everyone.
The Clumsiest Elf Pantomime & Christmas Workshop at The Sill, Sunday 8th December
Visit Santa’s workshop to hear the heart-warming tale of Effie Brightbuttons! Meet the elves, hear stories and sing songs before joining some of Santa’s Elves in the workshop to make you very own wooden Christmas decoration.
Mission Imp-ossible: the annual festive fun run at Walltown Country Park, Saturday 21st December
Take part in the perfect family challenge this festive season and complete Santa’s Mission Imp-ossible Elf Run to save Christmas at Walltown Country Park. Each participant will receive a unique Mission Imp-Possible buff and reward bag included in the ticket price.
Creative Workshops at The Sill
Get creative this Christmas with a packed programme of workshops at The Sill. From making your own willow angel, to Christmas Door Wreaths and Giant Rustic Stars. Full details of all workshops can be found on the Northumberland National Park website.
