Starting from Alwinton, we follow the Clennel Street Drove Road past the ruins of the Wholehope “bothy” and skirt the edge of the Kidland Forest, before accessing the moors for a lofty return over Copper Snout to Shillmorr. We then follow the quaintly named Pass Peth over open moorland which leads us back to our start point in Alwinton.
