Step back in time in this remote landscape to see how prehistoric people lived.

Starting at the Ingram Bridge car park our route follows an old drovers road to Wether Hill Hillfort, then Cochrane Pike with magnificent views of the Cheviot and Simonside Hills.

Our route continues via the hillfort at Middle Dean with its unique "valley" location and extensive cultivation terraces, before continuing to reach the impressive stone built hillfort of Brough Law. Descending to the road we follow this back our start point at Ingram Bridge.
