August Sill Scramble

Event date:
22nd August 2021
Time:
10:30
Location:
The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre

Challenge your friends and family by taking on our pop up obstacle course this summer.

We have partnered with Challenge Northumberland to design a different course each month which will tackle the obstacles through the eyes of an insect or animal that face these challenges every day.

This August the course will be all about heather and hay so watch out for adder obstacles and special plants that rattle in the haymeadows.

Free Parking for ticket holders.

Sill Scramble

Choose your ticket based on when you want to arrive at The Sill. Just one ticket purchase allows up to 6 individuals, your bubble, to tackle the course together.

The price is based on the number of individuals rather than age. On arrival your group will be given a specific start time which will allow you to have the course to yourselves.

Please note these will be allocated on a first come first served basis as you arrive at The Sill, but if you have a little wait there is plenty to see and do at The Sill.

The course is over approximately a quarter of a mile, beginning at our learning garden, taking you through the Sill grounds on accessible paths and concentrating most of the obstacles on our field surrounded by open moorland.

It is not competitive, is suitable for families with school age children or groups of adults wanting to get active together in a beautiful setting. Please come dressed for outdoor activity and wear suitable footwear such as trainers.

Please contact [email protected],uk if you have any questions about this event.
