Drop in Kids Clay Workshop

Event date:
20th February 2020
The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre

The Clay Team will be running a drop-in session designed especially for children of all ages.

They will spend an hour making pieces out of air-dry clay and decorating them with pottery tools, pencils and leaves. Children are encouraged to use their imagination and create what they feel like from their portion of clay.

The current exhibition Lost Words will give plenty of inspiration from nature, think woodland creatures and natural forms. The finished products can be taken away at the end of the session.

They can also be further decorated at home with acrylic paints once they’ve dried.

This is a drop-in event running from 10am - 4pm.
