Go Stargazing

Event date:
22nd February 2020
The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre

Due to very high winds and poor visibility forecast on Hadrian's Wall we have taken the decision to cancel this event. All ticket holders will be contacted for refunds.

Join astronomers from Go Stargazing to explore the skies above the Dark Sky Park from The Sill.

This event takes place during a new moon and therefore the skies will be at their darkest - with no moonlight it's by far the best time to stargaze with the Milky Way being readily visible overhead. Enjoy an astronomically themed presentation and a guided tour of the constellations with large aperture telescopes being on hand to observe fascinating deep-sky objects.

A great evening out suitable for astronomers aged 11+.

Wrap up warm! Prior booking required.
