Humbleton and Harehope Guided Walk

Event date:
12th January 2022
Time:
10:30
Location:
Wooler Common Car Park

Following extensive damage caused by Storm Arwen we have taken the decision to cancel all guided walks in January and February.

Please stay away from woodland areas at this time and follow Northumberland National Park Authority on social media for updates. If visitors or the local community would like to report an issue on a right of way within the National Park, please contact stormarwen@nnpa.org.uk.

Further information can be found on the Forestry England website and on the Northumberland County Council Public Rights of Way page.

Our circular walk follows St Cuthbert's way going westwards over Gains Law and Black Law before descending by the Gleadsclough track.

We then join the bridleway which takes us below Harehope Hill and Humbleton Hill before returning via the Humbleton track to Wooler Common. The walk is steeped in history and provides exceptional views.

For further details please contact events@nnpa.org.uk.
