Come and join us at The Sill for our first Spring Fair. 

We will be hosting traders from all over Northumberland selling delicious cheese, preserves, chutneys, beer, spirits and unique crafts.

There be entertainment for the whole family and a range of activities for you to get stuck into.



Rosstweed –  Locally produced tweed fabrics, inspired by the Northumbrian countryside

Oakwood Soaparie – Handmade natural soaps, bathing products and skincare all made with natural ingredients and pure essential oils.

Ghosts of Nature – Eco printed silk scarves, cushions, prints and cards printed using leaves and flower, bark and natural vegetable pigment

Castles Keepsakes – Word art pictures, cards and fridge magnets.

David Lawson Ceramics – Woodfired, salt glazed ceramics for kitchen and home, hand thrown and produced locally in Hexham.

Muckle Brewing – Muckle Brewing is a tiny Northumbrian brewery with big values and mighty flavours.

Zen Baker – Artisan baked goods. Hand thrown bread, traditional method cakes, traybakes, scones, tealoaves and morning goods.

Northumberland Honey Co. – Northumberland Honey Co are creators of the first sparkling mead in the UK, production follows the methode tradionelle, or ‘Champagne’ method.

Cloth Dolly Crafts – Using a blend of English and Scottish tweeds, cotton velvets, up-cycled and new fabrics to craft an array of animal ornaments, lavendar filled gifts, oodles of bunting, cushions and more.

Cumberland Mustard – Cumberland Mustard, produced in Alston since 1983, the work and joy of Geoff Cole and Marilyn Avens. All hand made in small batches to give the freshest taste and greatest care to quality.

Votadini Arts – Gifts and artwork inspired by the local landscape of Hadrian’s Wall and Northumberland.

Nancye Church Jewellery – Contemporary and individually designed jewellery, using unusual combinations of materials including bronze and monel with silver, gold and gemstones.

Check Out My Plumage – Handmade fused and blown glass with an animal theme. Hand painted watercolour artwork, and greetings cards from these designs and handmade glass jewellery.

The Honey B Company – Raw natural honey from North Yorkshire, County Durham and Northumberland.

Carolyn Marr Ceramics – Handmade ceramics that invite attention and handling.

Rosie Bee – Retro Aprons, Cushions, Large Noticeboards, Buntings, Peg Bags and Tablet Cases.

The Nut Roaster – We buy the best quality nuts we can and roast them in small batches.  We then grind the freshly roasted nuts and add nothing else except care to make our 100% pure nut butters – no salt, no sugar, no palm oil, just 100% pure fresh and nutty goodness.

Claire Myers Artist – Original paintings, pet and animal portraits, fine art prints, cards and gift items.

Hazy Days Designs – Hand painted glassware, vases, lanterns, glasses and more. Handcrafted jewellery in various mediums such as gemstones and silver.
