The Rothbury Terraces W2W

Event date:
1st July 2022
Cowhaugh Car Park, Rothbury

This is a walk full of rewarding views on a clear day.  After a steady climb out of Rothbury at the start of the walk we will see Simonside and the Coquet Valley, and later the Cheviot Hills and even the Scottish Border.  With forest, moorland, town paths and even some ancient history there is plenty of variety on this walk.  There will be time at the end to have a cake and a cuppa in one of the lovely teashops in this pretty town.

West Tynedale Ramblers Wellbeing Walk Leaders and National Park Volunteers have designed walks suitable for people wanting an introduction to the inspirational landscapes of Northumberland National Park. Whilst still more challenging than urban walks, our friendly leaders have chosen easier routes and will walk at a pace suitable for all.
