Event date:
31st August 2019
Bulby's Wood Car Park, Ingram

Join us for a Walk to Wellbeing in Northumberland National Park taking in Ingram and the foothills of the Cheviots.

West Tynedale Health Walk Leaders have designed and are leading walks suitable for people wanting an easy introduction to the inspirational landscapes of Northumberland National Park.

A special walk in The Breamish Valley, Ingram is led by national park archaeologist Chris Jones. This peaceful valley in the north of Northumberland National Park is noted for the remains of many hillforts giving us clues to how our ancestors lived. Chris will lead us to the top of the most accessible of these, Brough Law.

After this gradual climb, we will descend past medieval terracing and ancient burial sites to Ingram Café for lunch (not included in walk price). After lunch, we will visit the Churchyard before returning to our start point

Bus leaves Hexham at 10am- Walk starts at Bulby’s Wood Car Park at 11.30am.
